Jen’s Most Anticipated Books of 2015

Can you believe it’s already time to look ahead to 2015? Here are some of the books on my radar for the coming year:

burned 1Burned by Karen Marie Moning – I went back and forth with myself about whether to include this one. The date has been pushed back so many times — and I know the focus has changed drastically over revisions. But the truth is, I’ve inhaled every single book in this series so far. And whether it’s about Dani or Mac or, frankly, whoever, I know I am going to buy it the day it comes out.

Release Date: January 20, 2015 (or so they say)

Edged Blade by JC Daniels – It may have been two books back, but I have to tell you, Broken Blade MESSED ME UP. The last book saw Kit trying to put herself back together, but I am ready to see her reclaim her badassery. I am hoping that happens here.

Release Date: February 3, 2015

Deadly Spells by Jaye Wells – This series just keeps getting stronger with each installment. Kate is such an interesting heroine to me. I love her struggle with magic and I hate her ex-boyfriend. I am curious if we’ll have any romance in this one.

Release Date: February 10, 2014

dead heatDead Heat by Patricia Briggs – I don’t even hide it anymore. I love the Alpha and Omega books even more than the Mercy Thompson books they sprang from. Charles and Anna are such a great couple. I never tire of reading about them. This installment features the Fae and a road trip!

Release Date: March 3, 2014

Dearest Rogue by Elizabeth Hoyt – I love the Maiden Lane series. This 8th installment features the wounded Captain James Trevillion. (*swoon*)

Release Date: May 26, 2015

shards of hopeShards of Hope by Nalini Singh – It’s Aden. And a female Arrow. I expect this to be rather epic as Singh is wrapping up the current series arc.

Release Date: June 2, 2015

Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews – The way the last book ended was so phenomenal. It left the world wide open for Kate and Curran. I can’t wait to see where they go next. I also hope to get a little bit of Jim and Dali in here, because I absolutely adore them.

Release Date: August 4, 2014

Hidden Legacy Book 2 by Ilona Andrews. No title and no date yet. But I loved the first one.

Downside 6 by Stacia KaneIf this book ever comes out, I am scheduling a vacation day to stay home and read it. But I am losing hope.

So… did I miss anything? Should I have put One With You on there? I thought about it. Share your thoughts!

  1. I like your picks, but I’m also holding my breath for: Vision In Silver: A Novel of the Others
Anne Bishop; Bound by Flames: A Night Prince Novel
Jeaniene Frost; Four Nights with the Duke (Desperate Duchesses Book 8)
    Eloisa James.

    • Jen at Red Hot Books says:

I probably would have added that one had I not read it early. I am such a fan of that series. Great choice. 🙂

  2. I agree with you totally on Downside. I’ve got a lot of the same books including, Dead Heat, Edged Blade, Magic Shifts and Shards of Hope. Pretty much anything that Ilona Andrews puts out, would be on my list, including Hidden Legacy and Sweep in Peace. Probably the only big one on my list that isn’t on yours is Visions in Silver by Anne Bishop.

  3. Looks familiar! I am looking forward to Anna and Charles for certain! For me, the biggest book I’m looking forward to reading is FIRESTORM, the final book in the Deadtown series by Nancy Holzner.
