Review: Not Until You Part 1: Not Until You Dare by Roni Loren

I’ve had this in my Kindle for too long, embarrassingly long. It’s a very short read, actually only 75% of the pages told the story, the rest were promos for other stories, and from start to finish took me less than an hour to read.  Even short, it still took me over a couple of days because I just couldn’t get into the characters.  This is part 1 of 8 in Roni Loren’s ‘Love on the Edge’ series.

This is basically an introduction to roommates – Ian and Pike and their neighbor, through the thin apartment walls, Cela. All three live have lived in the same apartment complex for over a year so there’s some sense of familiarity.

Until the day that Cela graduated and became a DVM the guys had never spoken to Cela and vice versa. With graduation behind her, Cela knows that she’s got a life carved out for her back home working with her father in his veterinary clinic. As her last thing before leaving, well make it her only thing before going home, Cela takes the guys up on their invitation for pizza and a night of ‘Never have I’.  Oh boy.

The chemistry between Ian and Cela seems to be the driving force, as of right now, and Pike is along for the ride. He’s superfluous. I’m sure he’s eventually find a purpose. There’s lots of angst going on with Cela because of her limited experience with men, especially men such as Ian and Pike with their threesomes. And considering she’s been listening, through their common wall, to the men having sex with whoever the flavor of the night is I see the beginning of some voyeuristic activities and much more.

I’ve had my fill.  I’ll skip on parts 2-8.

Happy reading folks!
