Review: Captive Prince by C.S. Pacat

Captive Prince is the first book of a trilogy about the relationship between Damen and Laurent. Damen is Crown Prince Damianos, the heir to Akielos, who, on the eve of his father’s death (and his ascension), is beaten, bound, drugged, and given as a gift to Laurent, the Crown Prince of neighboring enemy Vere.

The blurb promises “betrayals, secrets, new loves, and old evils come to light” and it definitely delivers!
