Review: Allison Shatters the Looking Glass by CM Stunich

Reviewed by Ronelle

After all her fighting to get to the Looking-Glass and home, when Allison tumbles onto the rug in her parents’ living room, she discovers that all she wants is to go back. It’s more than just the awkwardness of having to explain nine boyfriends, a prophecy, and magic to her family—Topside just doesn’t feel right anymore.

It doesn’t help that a trio of fucking nightmares follows her back to throw down over the one intact Looking-Glass in existence. That’s really just the icing on the FUBAR-cake.

Review: Allison and the Torrid Tea Party by CM Stunich

For Allison Liddell, falling down a rabbit hole was nothing like the books led her to expect. Instead of finding a fantastical realm filled with quirky and nonsensical—also harmless—inhabitants, she tumbled into Underland. It used to be Wonderland, but not anymore. Review: Allison’s Adventures in Underland by CM Stunich

Allison Liddell didn’t want to go to that stupid party in the first place, but her sister, Edy, knew just the card to play to convince her. She even talked her into that stupid blue-and-white dress. Of course, Edy wandered off to socialize as soon as they got there. So Allison did what came naturally: found a quiet place to read her book…which ended up being the last normal event in her young life.

Except in those books, there wasn’t blood everywhere. In those books, the characters weren’t all male, attractive, and interested in her.

Forget everything you know about the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, the March Hare… This isn’t Wonderland; this is Underland. And everything is riding on Allison. [Read more…]
