Review: Fueled by Lust: Caelius by Celeste Prater

caeliusReviewed by Shelly

If you’ve not read any of the previous stories in this series, I wouldn’t start with this one. This is read much better in sequence. It’s amazing what small things will distract me. In my case it’s thongs because everyone wears them and heroines whose names are have 4 letters and end in ‘a’. I’m trying to shake it off but it keeps popping up.

This 5th book in the Fueled by Lust series has 2 separate stories – one is an m/f romance while the other is m/m. Caelius Meron is one of the Insedi warriors who traveled to earth to find his mate. All of the warriors work for the Heat Seekers Male Revue in one capacity or another – easy access to plentiful women. Too bad for Caelius, because it’s all for naught when he meets Rhia Brennan in his cooking class. Rhia’s 22 years older than Caelius, and is rightfully hesitant to enter into any kind of a relationship with someone so young. [Read more…]

Fueled by Lust: Lucien by Celeste Prater

The 4th in the Celeste Prater’s Fueled by Lust series is Lucien’s story. If you’ve not read any in the series, then you’re missing out because this is a fun sci-fi, PNR, otherworldly – whatever you wanna call it good time. This could probably be read as a stand-alone, but there are so many overlapping characters from one story to the next that I think each should be read as part of the whole. If you’ve read any of my reviews from the previous stories you’ll know that I like what Prater is doing so far. This review will have some spoilers from the previous books. [Read more…]

Review: Fueled by Lust: Cato by Celeste Prater

The 3rd installment in Celeste Parker’s Fueled by Lust series is a nice surprise. Why a surprise? For the simple reason that she’s not skimping on either the characters or story building. This installment is more stand alone than Book 2 was, but the characters are all recurring. So to avoid confusion and hair pulling, I would suggest that you read the first two in the series before tackling this one. It doesn’t hurt that those two were very good also. [Read more…]

Review: Fueled by Lust: Severus by Celeste Prater

I’m enjoying this series; tremendously. This picks up immediately after the first story. If you’ve not read the first in the series, I think you should, because Prater doesn’t go over the information that’s already been established in that story. This novella – which I enjoyed much better that the first, and I enjoyed that one a lot – takes place over more time and the development of the relationship is more in the romance category and what I’ve come to expect from erotica. I thought the progression of Severus and Cassie’s relationship was quite well done. [Read more…]

Review: Fueled by Lust: Drusus by Celeste Prater

After giving up on a few series, I’m glad to find that I have another one to read. I’m late to the Fueled by Lust books but there’s an advantage to that – I get to skip the wait between releases. I’m not even sure why I decided to read the first book in the series. I think it was when I read Texas in the blurb and then I saw that this came from Siren Publishing – well what’s a girl to do but just say yes? I was appropriately intrigued. Then it got even better because after the first couple of pages, I was hooked and had a good time for the remainder. [Read more…]
