Review: Crux Survivors: Sole Survivors by Dani Worth

This edition has two stories, the novella “After the Crux” and this book Sole Survivors. I reviewed the novella a while back while it was still under the author’s pen name Dani Worth. I really enjoyed that one, however it’s m/m/f so keep that in mind.

Set in the same dystopian future as “After the Crux,” this story takes the audience away from the refuge where Ross, Dorian and Jenna live. Chase Hawthorne and his brother Tripp are making their way to find people. Specifically, they’re trying to find people who they can live with. It’s been the two of them for quite a while now, about a year. Chase is getting desperate to find Tripp some new and fresh faces, people who he can talk to. Tripp’s twin was killed and he’s having what Chase describes as dark thoughts. [Read more…]

After reading Dani Worth’s ‘The Kirthran Regenesis’ series, I knew I would like this other series set in a post apocalyptic world. Although this novella has been out for a couple of years, I’m just getting around to it. Set in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico, Ross, Jenna, and Dorian have made a life for themselves and other survivors who they can get to join their small, but growing family. Living in an underground but functional home, they know that there’s protection in numbers. [Read more…]

Review: Origin by Dani Worth

Between books 3 and 4 – what a difference a book makes. This was by far my favorite in the series because I thought the character development was darn good. If you read book 3 in the Kithran Regenesis series, you’ll remember Claybourne as the brother of Jackson while Anders is his first officer. This is the first time we’re introduced to Siri, though, and what an introduction it is.

This is a much longer book than the others and was all the better for it. If you’ve not read any of the others in the series – you’re missing out. [Read more…]

Review: Replicant by Dani Worth

I’m having a hard time putting this series down. It’s rare to find a satisfactory story line in a novella but Dani Worth has me singing her praises. The world building alone on this Kithran planet deserves it’s own kudos. The second in the Kithran Regenesis series picks up where the first story left off. Lux, Kol and Egan are living their HEA while rebuilding Kithra. There are more people who’ve been hired by The Company so the population, while not exploding, has multiplied by the tens. Review: Catalyst by Dani Worth

So far, this is my least favorite of the series. I didn’t enjoy it as much because the sex scenes seemed more…gratuitous and there not as much in the progression of the plot as compared to the first two in the series. BUT that doesn’t mean it’s not good, I’m still having a hard time putting this series down – the 4th book has already been purchased. [Read more…]

Review: Kithra by Dani Worth

kithraReviewed by Shelly

A short but good one, the first in Dani Worth’s Kithra Regenesis series is a scifi, m/m/f with all the right things to make it a fun read. This is my first by this author and the other stories in the series have already been added to my TBR list. The world building is one of my favorite things, good imagery, and I can’t leave out the dialogue, clever. [Read more…]
