Review: Love, Marriage and Mayhem by Maggie Adams

The 4th book in the ‘Tempered Steel’ series is a very quick read, but I would strongly suggest that you read the previous books in the series because it’s a continuing storyline and characters. Unlike the other stories that focused on a single couple, this story has two brothers – Brandon and Lucky. Brandon’s the brother who brings home the strays and is the caretaker of the group. Lucky’s back from some Vegas stint with a new wife and she’s a doozy. [Read more…]

Much of the 3rd book in Maggie Adams’ Steel Tempered happens during the time frame of book 2. These stories, while they could probably read as standalones, I wouldn’t recommend that. The second book in Maggie Adams’ Steel Tempered series picks up where book 1 left off, after Mac and Dixie’s wedding. Angel Devereaux has been in love with Sam since he left town without telling her and they’ve not communicated since he left. Now that Sam’s back in town, Angel wants nothing more than to have Sam back in her life. [Read more…]

Twenty-one year old Dixie Harris’s younger brother is in trouble with both the law and Mackenzie ‘Mac’ Coalson. Dixie, in protector mode, comes to his rescue only to get sidetracked by her immediate attraction to Mac. Fourteen years older than Dixie, Mac and his brothers own the construction company in Grafton that’s rebuilding their small town after a storm destroyed many of the homes and business. While he’s trying to help the people of his town, someone is destroying his hard work by vandalizing the homes, and Dixie’s brother gets caught in a precarious situation at one of the properties.
